Originally founded as a soap works in 1845, Maurer & Wirtz began expanding with the production of washing powder in 1884. By the turn of the century perfumes and cosmetics were added. Today, the company operates as three distinct business units devoted to separate vertical market segments. The beauty unit ranges from budget to prestige brands. In 2007, the organization acquired several brands from Procter & Gamble including 4711, Tosca and Sir Irisch Moos.
Pink pepper symbolizes luminosity, while grapefruit represents energy. Cecile Hua is the fragrance’s creator.

Adventurous scents are reminiscent of the moist, lush greenery of the deep jungles. Pink pepper, the vivid pink fruit produced by the evergreen tree lends a fresh elegance to the scent with warm spicy top notes with hints of angelica and juniper. The essential oils of bright, sparkling grapefruit contrasts with the spice to create lively composition, expressing the feelings of happiness and joy.
