Maurer & Wirtz was originally founded as a soap production company in 1854 by father and stepson duo, Michael Maurer and Andreas Wirtz, eventually adding fragrances to their wares by the 20th Century. The company is based in Stolberg, Germany, a small town near Aachen. For much of their 150 years of tradition, Maurer & Wirtz remained a European-focused company and although they have since branched out internationally, they have continued to keep the business in the family for five generations. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.
