1869 Cologne by Acca Kappa, The famed Italian brush-maker Acca Kappa was founded in 1869, the year from which this scent derives its name. This masculine fragrance is aromatic and leathery with aquatic, animalic, and ozonic accords. Heady floral notes of geranium, violet, and iris are softly spiced with cardamom. The creamy, sweet, and smoky base draws on ambergris, vanilla, and incense.
The brand began releasing perfumes in 1997, and most fragrances showcase natural essential oils. This complex scent is sourced from citrus oils, such as tangerine and orange, in addition to nutmeg, patchouli, pink pepper, pimiento leaves, and pine. The fragrance has moderate longevity and creates soft to moderate sillage.
