Since its inception, the brand has been known for its clean lines and minimalist styling through its ready-to-wear and haute couture fashions. It launched the designer jeans trend with its brand name on the back pocket in the 1970s and boxer briefs in the 1990s. Besides clothes, the brand is known for its accessories, leather goods, eyewear, and fragrances, which were introduced in 1981 and became popular with scents such as Obsession and Eternity.
